BDS Laundry Systems will host its 2008 Open House & Product Show at the company’s St. Paul, Minnesota facility on Thursday, September 11. Now in its fifth year, the annual full-day event features product displays, service and industry seminars, special one-day pricing, attractive financing rates and more. Fourteen leading providers will display the latest in energy-saving commercial laundry equipment, new technologies and related products.

Nationally renowned motivational speaker and author Michael Angelo Caruso will present a seminar on “Five Cool Ways to Improve Your Business,” as well as offer tips throughout the day on how to maximize customer and employee relationships. Caruso’s previous speaking engagements include presentations to major organizations such as Bank of America, Citgo, Rayovac, Hallmark, Verizon Wireless and the United States Navy.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Caruso as our keynote presenter at this year’s event,” said David DeMarsh, President of BDS Laundry Systems. “He’s an energetic speaker who will introduce coin laundry owners to proven techniques they can use to take their business to the next level.”

Brian Wallace, CEO of the Coin Laundry Association will present the “10 Deadly Sins of a Coin Laundry” seminar, and Jeff Deal, CEO of Hamilton Engineering, will present a seminar entitled “Your Water Isn’t What It Used to Be.” In addition, Maytag factory service representatives and BDS technicians will be available all day to consult one-on-one with coin laundry owners and answer service related questions.

As an added incentive, attendees are eligible to receive gas and motel vouchers based on the distance they travel to the show. Attendees who pre-register will receive a case of soap, free continental breakfast, catered grand buffet lunch, and the chance to win valuable prizes all day long.

Those registering by August 25 are eligible for a special VIP prize drawing valued at more than $300. Other prizes include LCD TVs, digital cameras, portable DVD players, iPods, grills, appliances and more.
