BDS Showcases Latest in Multi-Housing Laundry Technology
BDS Laundry Systems, the Midwest’s premier provider of commercial laundry solutions, hosted its first Customer Appreciation and Technology Reception for multi-housing customers Nov. 2, 2011 at the company’s headquarters in St Paul, Minn. More than 135 people were in attendance. Clay Jackson, The Maytag Repairman, made a special appearance and posed for souvenir photos with guests. The crowd was delighted with food masterfully crafted and beautifully presented by Chef Donald Gonzalez of Forepaugh’s Restaurant in St. Paul.
Mock laundry rooms were constructed to showcase the latest technology and programs available to property owners to help them better manage their laundry facilities and boost revenue. Maytag Commercial Laundry regional sales managers Steve Hietpas and Kent Walters, and Adrian Zettlemoyer and Phil Smith from ESD, were on hand to answer questions.
In the spirit of community involvement, BDS made a donation to the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) in St. Paul for each guest in attendance. The non-profit MACV organization supports homeless veterans and provides services directly, or in collaboration with other service agencies. The mission of MACV is to return these men and women to a productive life in the nation they once defended, with dignity and hope.
“This was a wonderful opportunity to meet and thank our loyal customer base and demonstrate the newest laundry room technology,” said Dave DeMarsh, BDS president. “It was a great learning experience for our customers, fun for us, and a win/win for all parties involved!”
